A few weeks ago Ms. Kinsella’s class had an idea to hold a bake sale in aid of educating our teachers on how to use our very own defibrillator.
We have over 60 staff in our school and thanks to the generosity of parents, pupils and teachers, lives could be saved thanks to the training the teachers have received.
A defibrillator is a machine that gives your heart and electric shock to re-establish a normal heart rhythm. It is used in cardiac arrest.
While we hope the training the staff received won’t need to be put into practice, it may save the life of somebody someday.
