School Chess Team Tournament

On Thursday The 7^th of February, The School Chess Team went to The Rock National School to compete in a Chess Tournament.

The school chess team was a group of 4 6^th class boys. There names were Anto John Malekal, Ashin Joshy, Bartosz Kupisiak and Peter Delaney.

Anto John came in 1^st

Bartosz Kupisiak came in 3^rd

Overall the school came in 2nd place and the school is very proud of these young talented boys who took part in the tournament.

Thanks to Mr. Barry who managed the chess team.

1. Q. How did you feel before the chess tournament started?

1. ”A little bit nervous but I know we had a good team”

2. Q. Do you think you picked the right boys to be on the chess team?

1. “Yes, because they represented the school very well.”

3. Q. Were you happy with how the tournament ended?

1. “Very happy, Anto John won! And the other boys played really well.”
