Covid-19 Message from our Principal and Deputy Principal

Category : Blog

Good Afternoon,

I hope this message finds you all safe and well. I want to provide some clarity on  how we will operate going forward.

From next Monday 30th March you child’s daily work will be sent to you via Aladdin. It will appear in the Homework icon. This icon is on your app now but empty until Monday.

For now use these links to find assigned work for each class.

Please do not worry about collecting books; workbooks are more crucial in Junior classes. Our teachers will attach very specific work (e.g. pages of maths, passages to read, questions etc.) from the books across the subject areas.

Please use a copy to record the work into. Please do not worry if you do not have a printer, the pupils can look at the work on the screen and write into this copy.

Each teacher will forward their school email address to you. You can ask a question or upload work and send it to them if you wish.

We understand parents may be overwhelmed in terms of the vast amount of online resources and websites that are available – The teachers will advise on a daily/weekly basis what is suitable and recommend a small number for you all to look at.

Most importantly, I want to repeat that this is a very difficult time for everybody and we totally understand that many homes face lots of varying challenges at present. Please only do what you can and remember all education is not academically orientated.

You all are doing a fantastic job in keeping your families safe and well. We want to help and support as much as possible. Let’s all work together to get though this difficult period.

Take care and be safe,

Ms. Róisín Brennan/Ms. Meree O Sullivan
